Sixth Patriarch's Charity Residential School

Sixth Patriarch Charity Residential School

Children learn best when they can live with security.
Education gives each child a safe place to grow and build a future.

Founding Purpose

Located in Madagascar, the school provides free education, boarding, daily meals and care to children facing financial hardship and limited educational resources.

Educational Philosophy

Education continues beyond the classroom. Waking, learning, eating, caring for shared spaces and evening study all help children build independence, responsibility and cooperation.

What kind of school is this?

Learning, boarding, meals, daily care and health management are brought together in one stable support system.

Why residential education?

Distance, household income, food security and unstable living conditions can all interrupt schooling. Residential education supports learning, daily life and health together.

Growing carefully—from 30 to 135 children

The school began with about 30 children. In September 2026, the second school year is expected to welcome about 135 children, with each child receiving genuine education and care.

SCHOOL JOURNEY

The School Journey

A record of the school growing through real educational work. The reserved photo spaces can be replaced when the school provides final images.

Beginning in a temporary school

The first school year gave about 30 children a stable daily rhythm of lessons, meals and care.

Moving to the new campus

Teaching, boarding, meals, health and daily care began moving into a safer and more complete campus.

Improving the new campus

Classrooms, dormitories, equipment and daily support continue to grow around children’s real needs.

Helping children return home safely

At term end, the school helps children travel home and stay connected with their families.

Education with Dignity

The True Purpose of Education

「Education is more than bringing children into a classroom. It helps them grow safely, steadily and with dignity into people ready for the future.」

Sponsorship becomes daily meals, boarding, learning materials, care and the time a child needs to keep learning.
